EGGcellent

Garrett had an Easter egg hunt at school on Wednesday, so we came home with many eggs and lots of candy. We have a BIG Easter egg hunt at church on Saturday. They usually hide around 10,000 eggs! Garrett has really gotten in the spirit of hunting eggs this year (as I try to write this sentence, I had to fish 2 keys out of Ty's mouth:). The first two pictures are from school and the other ones were from our egg dying extravaganza (I only had 5 eggs).

This is Braves Country...

One great thing about Atlanta is the Braves games! We live about 25 minutes from Turner Field and really enjoy going. David went opening night for work, but we all went for the first time on Saturday. The Braves beat the Mets and we had a great time. We saw 4 homeruns and the best part was that Ty slept through most of it :)

We have had beautiful weather (again)! Unfortunely lots of storms, but nothing like a Kansas storm, but the newscasters here think that we are going to get blown away at the drop of a hat!

This blog is mostly pictures. We have taken advantage of the weather lately and played outside a ton (and also cleaned the garage, planted a garden/flowers and planted grass seed). I must say our house is looking pretty good these days! Anyway, enjoy the pictures of my boys (as you can see Ty is officially into everything)!

7 Months Old!

Times flies when you are having fun (or not sleeping much :). Ty is 7 months old already! Its hard to believe that in 5 months we will be having his 1st birthday! He is still toothless and seems to be following Garrett's pattern of teething, lots and lots of drooling, chewing on everything, but not a sign of a tooth (Garrett was 15 months old before he had a tooth). He is still not sleeping well (a genetic trait I'm sure). He weights about 19.4 pounds or so. His car seat is a beast. I am fixing to order Garrett a booster seat because he meets the requirements and give his car seat to Ty. He is in size 3 diapers and loves most baby food. He is not a fan of green beans though. We have just started with a sippy cup and yesterday tried pear juice for the first time. He loves Puffs and Mum Mums. The mum mums basically melt and get on everything, but he loves them and keeps him occupied for awhile. He can crawl/scoot anywhere he wants to go and has mastered sitting up. He has gotten fast at scooting and wants to chew on ANYTHING that he can get his hands on. His favorite is Hot Wheels, puzzle pieces and a cord of any kind. I have been buying him some summer clothes because I don't think he will be able to wear all of Garrett's. He is already outgrown the Carters 9 month clothes and I have found him and Garrett some cute matching summer clothes :) Ty loves the vacuum cleaner and I can't vacuum without him trying to chew on the cord! He also loves, loves the dogs. He just pulls on them and gets so excited to see them. He started staying in church nursery about two months ago and has made it the whole time (except once).
