Garrett's Graduation

Garrett officially graduated from his class today. They had a ceremony and he got a diploma. He will still be 2 days a week next year. He learned a lot this year. He knows all his shapes, colors, recognizes letters, his alphabet, counting and lots more!

Bye- Bye Bouncy Seat

It's time to say goodbye to the bouncy seat. I was trying to do some stuff on the computer and turned around and Ty had crawled up in the bouncy seat and was standing up in it. He thought it was hilarious. Considering that he had been on the floor a minute before, he is getting faster and faster at doing things he isn't suppose to do!

Splish, Splash I was taking a bath...

I finally added some pictures of the boys taking a bath. Ty (the wild one) loves to put his head under the running water and loves bathtime. Garrett just wants to swim and hates actually getting a bath. I have been trying to scrub these tattoos off of Garrett for a week!

Ty outgrew his baby bathtub a while back and we bought a bath ring. It is great! It's a lot easier giving them a bath together while David is gone.

Enjoy!

8 Months Old!

Ty was officially 8 months old yesterday. He weighs in a whopping 20.11 pounds! There is not a food out there that he doesn't like! As you will be able to see in my pictures, he has found a new love, pulling up on everything. He is quick as lightning crawling now and has managed to climb on the fireplace and on the first step going upstairs. He is absolutely into everything!

Sleeping is still not our thing and neither is napping. He is a good baby though (most of the time). He is in size 3 diapers and 9-12 clothes. We put up our baby car seat because it was getting impossible to carry him around in it. He absolutely LOVES Garrett and LOVES bath time. He had a thrush early in the week, so we started on yogurt and loves it too! He is scheduled to have his 8 month pictures on Monday, hopefully they turn out good!

Riding out the storm...

As you can see my kids were unaware that we were riding out the storms in the basement. Ty just thought it was one more thing to pull-up on. We were so lucky here and escaped any bad storms. Ringold is about one hour north of us and suffered a lot of damage and had 8 residents killed. I drive through there every time I go to Tennessee.

Our Sunday school teacher was in Fultondale, Alabama (north of Birmingham) and survived the tornado by being in the cooler at O'Charley's. We were very lucky here, but so many people were not.

Where a kid can be a kid...

Chuckie E. Cheese! I took Garrett to Chuckie E. Cheese on Friday with friends from church. He had a great time and brought home lots of 'great' prizes. I hadn't been there in many, many years and school is still in session here, so we were about the only people there.

Following in David's footsteps?

Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail...

Hopping Down the Bunny Trail...Right to First Baptist Church (okay a little cheesy I know). We had a big egg hunt at church the day before Easter. Garrett had a good time and go lots of eggs and candy.

I have yet to take pictures of them in their Easter outfits because we had a big dinner here and Ty was aslept when we got home from church, but I will soon!
