Carving Pumpkins!

Last weekend we finally got around to carving the boys pumpkins. They decided to go with two silly pumpkins that were pretty easy to carve. They had a good time and really wanted to play with the knives! Ty ate a little pumpkin and Garrett was a big help to David :)

Townsend, the Quiet Side of the Smokies and then off to Dollywood

We recently went to the Townsend, TN to enjoy the peaceful side of the Smoky Mountains. Very little traffic, people and complete quiet! We rented a cabin and did a whole lot of nothing. We made a few trips to Cade's Cove and attempted to go to Clingman's Dome, but could see about 5 feet in front of you! We (or I) cooked at the cabin and we just relaxed. The leaves had changed quite a bit and we actually saw several bears. It was a great time!

We also decided to go to Dollywood. Neither David or I had been in years and thought the boys would enjoy it. We had great weather and a great day. The boys were big enough to ride several rides.

Ty was pointing at a deer...

Dollywood

I had found it is just about impossible to take a good, still picture...

The Tiny Turtle

During our camping experience, David found/ran over a little turtle. Garrett was fascinated with it and Ty just wanted to poke it. Garrett wanted to keep it, but I had to remind him that it had a family too and they would miss him :)

Camping with the Coffey's (minus Mommy and Ty)

We had bought a new tent back a few months ago and had yet to try it out. David and Garrett decided they were going to camp out down by the garden a few weeks ago. I had just got the boys new sleeping bags and camping chairs, so it was time to try them out! Ty and I decided to sleep in our nice warm beds while the bigger boys made it through the night!

Georgia Aquarium

and blog catch-up. I didn't realize it had been so long since I had blogged. We have been busy lately, David was in New York City for 2 weeks and we are taking advantage of the beautiful Atlanta weather. We went to the Georgia Aquarium on Garrett's birthday. It is a great aquarium, but very pricey, so we only try to go on special occasions.

They had added a dolphin show since the last time we were there and it was neat and kept the boys attention. Both boys are doing great and growing so much. Ty is walking/running everywhere and has 3 teeth now. Garrett is still loving school and brings home lots of art!

Enjoy the pictures, more to come!
