We ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp and this was the sign to let the waiter know what we needed...

Happy March, I know its hard to believe that it is already March. Time flies! Garrett just turned 17 months old and it is amazing new things that he learns every day. He has started saying 'where it go' all the time. He also has said 'mine' a few times when he doesn't want to give what he is holding up. I think we have entered a early version of the terrible twos. Over the past couple of weeks, we have dragged Garrett out of a store kicking and screaming and throwing himself all around. My dad had to drag Garrett off a mechanical horse in Gatlinburg and he threw himself in the floor and went limp (still screaming of course). Other than that :), Garrett is learning so many new words and can climb on about anything now.

We went to Gatlinburg and the mountains the last weekend of February and had a great time. We rented a cabin with Mom, Dad, Cory, Adam and Samantha. We enjoyed just sitting around and of course going to the Scrapbook Warehouse and Children's Place. On Friday we took Garrett to the Aquarium of the Smokies and to Cade's Cove. On Sunday, David, Adam and Cory went skiing and had quite a bit of snow. We weren't sure if we could get down out of the mountain in our vehicle, but did with no problems.

An update on David's job; we had our final home interview two weeks ago and are hoping for a May academy. Keep your fingers crossed!

Cutest Cowboy!

We took Garrett to the Lonestar Rodeo in Cookeville last Friday night. He loved it! He loves cows and horses and was in amazement at everything happening around him. He was in the cutest cowboy contest, but didn't win anything. Of course, he was the cutest though! He got a new cowboy hat for the rodeo and loved it! Enjoy the pictures of the cutest cowboy!

Snow!

We are our first official snow of the year and the first snow that Garrett can remember or get out in. He really liked it and screamed and threw himself in the floor when we went in. I finally got him to say snow or something that sounded like it. The throwing himself in the floor is another new thing. Whenever he doesn't want to do something, he will just throw himself in the floor.

Nothing new really going on with us. It has been so cold here and we have been stuck inside the house. I have been sewing lately and have made Garrett a blanket and made some burp clothes for gifts. We also just had 231 pictures developed to scrapbook. So I have lots to do.

Garrett officially have up his bottle about 2 weeks ago. He still just has 4 teeth, but the doctor tells me that is perfectly normal.

He had his 15 month checkup last week. He was 32 inches tall and weighed 27 pounds. He is such a growing boy! He is perfectly healthy!
Enjoy the new pictures!

Christmas 2008

Kendra and Jordan's Wedding

Garrett and his suit

Wow, 2009 already! Where does the time go? David and I are fixing to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary and Garrett just turned 15 months old. Christmas was so much fun this year! Garrett had a great time opening gifts and seeing all of our family. He got so much for Christmas. Endless books, bath toys, a Little Tikes tower, Mega Blocks, a raceway, an Inchworm to ride, a computer, a UT hat, tractors, a gun and so much more!

We were definitely blessed having all of our Hull family here. Chad, Heather, Jakob and Collin have officially moved back from Texas and were able to join us for Christmas. We got the chance to meet Baby Collin for the first time. We also traveled to Jackson to have Christmas with Sandy and Great-grandma Bonnie. We had a great time being able to visit everyone.

Garrett has tooth number 3 coming in and it isn't a bottom tooth, but another upper! Maybe bottoms someday!

Garrett is almost broke from his bottle. We have made significant progress over the past couple of days. It hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be.

I thought I would put together a list of everything that Garrett can say: Cor (short for Cory), Ad (short for Adam), Pa, Mama, Dada, Bull, Bird, Please, Ba-ba, Milk, Moo, Go, All gone (almost anyway), Bye-bye, Nana, Bath, he tries to do the 'cock-a-doodle-do', duck, quack, dog, Ho-ho (for Santa)--that's all that I can think of right now!

He shakes his head no for everything. He also has some new dance moves and just loves to dance. He is still in love with the Wizard of Oz. We have watched it over and over, but everytime he sees it, its like he is watching it for the first time.

Enjoy the pictures and enjoy the new year!

Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

Tom Cruise who?

Garrett and Ho, ho!

Garrett and his beloved books!

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!

Hello everyone! Hard to believe its Christmas Eve, I know! I guess no snow for us this year, maybe one day Garrett will be able to build a snowman (he has snow boots to do the job in!). We are spending tonight with my family and then tomorrow enjoying a leisurely day at home. I can't wait to see Garrett open his presents in the morning. He has gotten pretty good at tearing the wrapping paper up into little balls and of course, trying to eat it.

He is finally cutting teeth! At 15 months, he is definitely starting late, but at last! His top two tooth are slowing working there way down and in one picture you can see them pretty good. So between teething and a cold, he has been pretty whiney lately, but it is getting better.

Adam is finally a married man. He and Samantha had their reception Saturday and it went great. The decorations were beautiful. Kendra and Jordan tie the knot on Saturday and that should be our last wedding for awhile.

Well, much to do to get ready for Christmas! Cupcakes to bake! We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and of course a Happy New Year!

Visiting Santa...

We took Garrett to visit Santa on Saturday. He didn't cry or scream, but he didn't smile either. This is the best one that we got!

Thanksgiving and Missouri

Wow! December already! My how times flies!

We celebrated a wonderful Thanksgiving in Crossville with the Coffey's and then in Jamestown. It was wonderful to see all the family and see Garrett interact with everyone. Garrett loves to put on a show for anyone who will watch. He has learned how to wink and spin around in circles. He said please for the first time the other day. It was so cute! He has also been saying boy and girl a lot lately. It sounds more like gurl, but we get the point.

We have had a busy past couple of weeks. The first week of December we traveled to Missouri to see our dear friends the Legault's and meet their new baby Chase. Unfortuntely I had a little bit of a stomach bug while we were there, but alls well now. Garrett didn't seem too jealous of Chase, but did not like it when he cried. We also welcomed a new member into our family. Collin Joseph Hull was born Friday the 5th weighing in at 9 pounds and 5 ounces. He will be coming to Tennessee in a few weeks and we can't wait to meet him.

Also, wedding season is upon us. Adam and Samantha are tying the knot on December 20th and Kendra and Jordan are getting married December 27th. We will be sooo busy till the first of 2009! Hard to believe, I know!

We are hoping to hear something soon about David's job. Keep us in your prayers that we hear something soon. It's not a matter of it, but just when!

Here are some pictures of Thanksgiving and Missouri! Enjoy the new pictures and get to work on that Christmas shopping!
