Tampa!

We went down to Tampa a couple of weeks ago for a quick trip.  Husband was working in the area, so we got to spend a couple of days with him.

We weren't sure about going because Tropical Storm Isaac was still predicted to come very close to the area when we left, but I decided to chance it and everything ended up okay on our part.  We did decide to leave a day early because of the rain that they were suppose to received.  Luckily we had great driving weather all the way back to Georgia.  The boys did a great job in the car, I think with stops it took us about 8 1/2 hours.

Our first visit was to Legoland Amusement Park in Winter Haven, FL.  It just recently opened up and my boys LOVED it!  Garrett is really into Legos right now, so it was right up his alley.

Almost everything in the park is made completely out of Legos.  They had several rides, but I couldn't leave a kid by themselves, so we didn't ride anything.  It was really amazing to see everything that they had made.

Warning:  Picture Overload on Steroids!

Yes, lots of Legoland pictures!

We drove to downtown Tampa were the Republican National Convention was going on to see some sights.  We passed the stadium where the Yankees do Spring Training.

The Tampa Bay Times Forum (where the RNC was held)

On Saturday we went to Dinosaur World in Plant City, FL.  The boys had a great time at that too.  Ty was a little unsure about the dinos that moved and made noises.

Picture overload from the Florida trip.  I'm on borrowed time, husband is traveling a ton and Ty is currently asleep.

On Friday, he and I were on the computer and he knocked over the computer tower on my foot.  First I thought he broke it, but I don't think its broke, just looks really rough.  So typing with Ty sitting with me is no more!
