Hilton Head 2013

Again, long time, no blog.  Since most people that read this, know us, you know we have been a little busy.  Lots of blogs to get up!

We went to Hilton Head over Garrett's spring break way back in April!  We absolutely loved, loved staying on the island.  It was so nice and clean.  We did a lot of things while we were there.  We introduced the boys to putt-putt golf, went on a dolphin cruise, spent lots of time at the beach, ate seafood and had a wonderful time.

I will let the pictures take over!

Easter Sunday-He is not here; he has risen! Luke 24:6

I tried to take some decent Easter pictures of my children, but they just wouldn't cooperate!  They are funny to look back on though.

On Sunday, we celebrated at church with over 1,500 people in attendence!  Easter is probably the most important Christian holiday, it holds so much meaning to people who celebrate our faith.

Mark 16:1-8
When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?"
But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' "
Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.

Easter Baskets!

The boys got their Easter basket on Sunday before church (yes, my children never were pajamas!).

Garrett got Wreck It Ralph, a Atlanta Hawks shirt and lots of other goodies.

Ty got the Toy Story Zing-Its (I think that is what its called) and lots of other goodies too.

Both got some books, shovels for the beach, bubbles, Legos and a few other things.

A Few Baseball Pics

Here a few pictures from Garrett's latest game.  We won!  So we are 3-4 on the season

Church Egg Hunt

On Saturday was the big egg hunt at church.  They had a total of 14,500 eggs!  They are divided up into age categories, so Ty was with the 1-2's and Garrett was with the 3-4's because they are divided up by school age.

Both boys only wanted to pick up the yellow eggs!  Apparently Garrett was looking for the golden egg and Ty did the same.  I finally convinced both to pick up any egg that they saw.  Both got a ton of eggs.

Garrett had baseball pictures and a game right after he hunted, so we just went dressed for the game.
