2 Months Old!

Luke was officially two months old on July 7th!  He is growing way too fast :(
We went to the pediatrician last Tuesday and he was 10.8 pounds (7% percentile) and 22 inches long (6% percentile).  Bad news was he had an ear infection, which lead to the trip on Wednesday to the ENT.  We just have to watch his ears closely.  Poor baby has been to more doctors in his short life than Garrett and Ty combined.

He has so many facial expressions.  He really started smiling a lot around the 4th of July.  He 'talks' to us a lot during the day, but a lot in the morning.

He loves, loves being held!  He would be content being held 24 hours a day.  He is still getting up every 2-3 hours at night :(  He is a bad sleeper just like his brothers.  He does take 2 good long naps during the day and he if gets woken up, he is up.  He will not go back to sleep.

He is in size 1 diapers and I have just started putting up all the newborn clothes away.  He has really started to grow.  Size 3 clothes fit him pretty well right now.  I have started buying fall/winter clothes because they are my favorite clothes to buy!

I finally got some pictures of him smiling a lot.  It seems like I never have my camera around when he is smiling a ton.

His likes at 2 months:
Being held
Eating
Being rocked
Being talked too

His dislikes at 2 months:
Being laid down (do you see a trend?)
Bath time
Loud noises
His car seat kind of
Having his clothes/diaper changed
Ty constantly poking him (or is that my dislike :)

Our June so far...

It's so hard to believe that June is almost over!  We got Garrett's information for Kindergarten in the mail a few days ago :(

We have been having a pretty laid back summer.  Last week we went to the Rome Braves game.  It was Luke's first baseball game.  It was hot, but we had a good time.

He has days were he is much more alert.  I have no idea who he looks like.  I guess I will just go with David's thoughts, he looks like himself.

Birth Announcement

Darrah's Designs on Etsy did the birth announcement for us and I loved how it turned out!

One Month Old!

Luke turned one month old on June 7th!  June 7th was my actual due date, he just decided to come exactly one month before his due date.  He is still in Newborn diapers and clothes for the most part.  0-3 clothes are still pretty big on him.  I have a feeling he is going to start catching up though.

His stats for one month are:
Height:  20.0 and 2.27% percentile
Weight:  7.38 pounds and 1.11% percentile
Head:  14.0 and 10.3% percentile

His likes are:
being held
eating
being swaddled
his soothie paci

His dislikes are:
having a dirty diaper
getting a diaper change
cold hands touching him
being startled
baths
not being picked up fast enough (cue deafening screaming)
hiccups
his swing (does not enjoy it)

It seems like he has been here forever.  Garrett loves to hold him and Ty does for about 10 seconds.  His first 2 newborn screenings came back abnormal due to human error and finally got the 3rd one done and everything came back perfect.  His poor little heal has been stuck about 20 times from the NICU and newborn screenings.  He also got the all clear from the eye doctor last week that his eyes were in perfect shape.  There is definitely a lot more things to go through with a preemie than a full-term baby.

He is perfect and we are so glad that he has completed our family.

Life with 3

These are just so random pictures that I have taken since we have been home.  Garrett is such a good helper.  He constantly wants to Luke's diaper and hold him.  Ty is good with him too, he just doesn't want to get too involved.

We have had a few visitors stop by.  Here's a picture of the Coffey boys.

Last week of baseball and school

When Luke was still in the NICU, Garrett had his last week of baseball.  I was able to go to all the game but one.  Garrett ended up having a great year playing.  He has really gotten into the sport.  They had a great team and coach this year.  We all had a great time.  The War Eagles ended up being 4th in their league.

Right after baseball ended, so did school.  These pictures were taken on the boys last day of school.  It's so hard to believe that Garrett will be in the Kindergarten next year :(

They did an end of the year program too.  It was American themed and they all did so good!
