Sunday Fun!

Yesterday after church and naps for some of us, we went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. Knock-on-wood, its almost like we didn't have a winter in Georgia this year. It is suppose to be in the 70's/80's this week. I love it!

We have figured out that the Suburban is super hard to keep clean on the inside because it has black interior. So we find ourselves cleaning it out A LOT!

Ty loves, loves the water hose for some reason and loves mud. He just throws himself down in the mud. He is so the opposite of Garrett.

Garrett's First Baseball Game!

Garrett had his first official baseball game on Saturday, March 10th! They played the Grasshoppers and everybody won (they don't keep score). They opened the day with a parade and ceremony and then each team let go of balloons. It was a lot of fun, but very long!

Garrett had a lot of fun. We weren't sure how it was going to go, but it went better than expected. They play for an hour and they were all done by the time our hour was up. Garrett got two hits and played all over the field. They all just want to pile on top of the ball when it comes there way.

Donuts with Dad

Yesterday David was able to go to Donuts with Dads in Garrett's class. It worked out where David was able to go in late and eat breakfast with Garrett.

Apparently, though my child doesn't like donuts, so he didn't eat any

18 Months!

Sorry for the lack of blogging, between sickness and being super busy, we have been super busy!

I actually meant to do this post over a week ago, but time got away.

So, Ty is 6 months away from being two years old! He is so fun these days and completely mischievous!

He just had his 18 month checkup and he is:
28.7 pounds (94%)
33.25 inches tall (77%)

I have no idea how many teeth he has because he is constantly cutting some. I think he has 6 coming in right now.

He had his first ear infection 2 weeks ago, but all clear on that.

He is saying:
No (alot)
Mama
Daddy
a good version of Garrett
Night-Night
Bye
a little of Thank You
Go
Let's Go
and a few more

He wears a size 7-7/12 shoe! Huge foot! His clothes are all 18 months with some 24 month and 2T stuff mixed in. He is bigger than Garrett was at the same age.

He is constantly shooting something, climbing on something, smacking Garrett or throwing himself on the floor. He is a mess-maker! I feel like I am constantly cleaning up after him! He throws everything, loves baseball and animals. He loves to take a bath and says "Let's Go!" when its bathtime.

He is so happy and so strong-willed! I love him so much! I wish he would stay this age forever and just want to love on me. His sleeping comes and goes (mostly goes). He is a definite handful!

First Baseball Practice...

Garrett had his first baseball practice on Saturday. It went much better than anticipated and Garrett had a really good time! His team is the Hot Rods. We got shirts and a hat ordered with his name.

They worked on hitting, catching, fielding and throwing a little bit on Saturday. David was out of town, but he is looking forward to catching Garrett's practice on Tuesday.

On a side note, April 15th is Powder Springs Youth Baseball Day at Turner Field (Braves stadium). Garrett and his team will get to walk out on the field before the game. If any family member is interested in attending, let me know because we have to get our tickets in advance.

Enjoy the pictures!
