Play-Doh

I recently found a great deal on Play-Doh (24 pack for $3.99 (regular $14.99)).  So we have been playing a lot of play-doh lately.  We were playing in the living room and quickly realized that it is a dining room type of play.

They have smashed many Army men in the play-doh and I have swept up many, many little pieces of it all over the house!

Pinterest Projects

Burlap Bubble Wreath

I am addicted to Pinterest.  Lots of great ideas, but limited time for me.  I really could look on there all day long.

I have got a lot of great ideas for home, party and teacher things.

Easter Fun!

Garrett had his Easter party at school today.  We had an absolute beautiful day to do it!  They hunted eggs and then we all had a picnic.

He loaded up on goodies!  I tried to take a decent picture of them together, but it is near impossible these days.

 Garrett's class...

He kept getting confused because there are two Garrett's in his class now and some of the eggs said Garrett C. and some said Garrett M.

Ellijay, Georgia

David had to work up in north Georgia this past week.  So we went up and spent a night with him.  We went up to Carters' Lake outside of Ellijay, GA and just spent the morning.  It was a beautiful day and the boys loved it!

Woody!

My children are obsessed with the Woody doll from Toy Story.  Everywhere we went that is all the played with, but I wasn't sure if they would actually play with one if we bought one or not.  But I finally broke down and talked Nana into getting them for the boys for Easter.

I went ahead and gave the boys the toys and they have been all over!  You would think since they each one that they wouldn't fight, but of course they still do.

Enjoy the pictures!

Game #2

Saturday was Garrett's second game of the season. They played the Mudcats and according to Garrett, won the game. I was worrying that playing in March meant cold weather, quite the opposite. I think it was mid-80's by the time the game was over. I had to drag out the sunscreen!

Garrett is having a great time playing and slowly has quite pouting and whining when he doesn't get the ball.

Summer Fun?

I cannot believe that it is technically still 'winter' here. Yesterday it was 84 degrees! It is much more like April/May weather and we have the pollen to prove it. David fixed a 'red-neck' water park yesterday in the yard and the boys got soaked!

We are having the hottest March since 1907. Today will make the 6th day in a row over 80 degrees. I'll take it!

Georgia has the absolute worst pollen though. I think they said average states were around 200 pollen count and today we broke the record at 8, 124! Apparently its the pine trees. We all have runny noses. Its so bad that it even bothers you if you don' have allergies!

We are really enjoying the super warm weather, but I bet that summer will be an absolute misery.

Enjoy my water babies!
