Garrett goes to Preschool!

Garrett started preschool/Mother's Day Out at church this week. His classroom is the same classroom he has for Sunday School, so he's just like bye Mom and never looks back. Which is good, but also shows how grown-up he has gotten. He only goes for 3 hours twice a week, but I think it will be a nice break for me and gives me a chance to go to doctors appointments without having to find someone to watch him.

He has became an 'explainer'. He has to tell you a very long reason for everything that he does. Our conversations have become quite interesting. It's hard to believe that he will be 3 next month!

Here are two pictures from his first day of school:

Now a baby update: The nursery is completely ready and our bags are packed. My midwife 'guesses' that he will be here between 37 and 38 weeks because Garrett was early and I sure hope she is right. You forget how miserable the last few weeks of pregnancy are. So far I am dilated 2 and he is finally head down (he has been a flipper and we were afraid he was breech). Everything is looking good. Their guess right now is that he weights between 5 1/2 and 6 pounds. So we are ready and just waiting for him to decide to come. I will officially be full-term in little over a week, so Garrett and I are going to start walking miles each day and hopefully the weather will cooperate (Atlanta is so hot!).
