Pregnancy Update-24 Weeks!

My plan for this week to to take an actual picture.  I have dinner at church tonight, so maybe, possibly!

How Far Along: 24 Weeks and 4 days!

Size of the Baby:  1.7 pounds and about 12-13 inches long

Total Weight Gain: 15 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Absolutely, my regular long sleeve t-shirts are getting very tight.

Gender: Baby Boy!

Movement: He is super active every other day for some reason.  I feel him every day, but every other day he decides to become a gymnast for awhile.

Sleep:  Sleep is better, I think exhaustion plays a role in that.

Symptoms:  Braxton Hicks several times a day.  I definitely have to stay on top of my water intake.

Cravings: Gravy and biscuits, pizza rolls

Best Moment this week:  Viability Week!  If something were to happen and he was born now, this is the first week of a chance of survial for infants.  I always looked forward to that with Garrett and Ty too.  I have started buying some summer clothes for him. I just can't resist.  Ty felt him kick this week and told David that he kicked him in the hand :)

Life Lately

Major blog slacking lately, I have been awful about taking pictures.  Last week was insanely busy!  The week before Ty caught the stomach bug, gave it to me, I ended up spending 8 hours in the ER and Labor and Delivery, gave it to David and Garrett missed it.

David and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary over toast and not a toast, but we both literally lived on toast for days!  Our stomachs couldn't handle anything else.  Not a fun week!

After about a week we all recovered and washed everything we could wash in our house!

Garrett has started baseball practice.  He is playing for the Auburn War Eagles/Tigers this year in the Shetland League.  It is 5/6 year old coach pitch.  He has the same coach and most of the same teammates from last year.  We had officially entered the intense Georgia Little League arena.

Last week, we went to the Ringling Bros. Circus at Phillps, celebrated Valentine's Day, I planned V Day parties (=exhaustion), David and I went out to eat on Valentine's Day thanks to our church for providing babysitting and we ended the week by celebrating David's birthday.  Not a ton of pictures, because I have majorly been slacking.  Will try to do better!

There are some pictures on here from the boys Valentine's parties at school.  We made super cute Valentine's, but I failed to take a picture of them.  Garrett took Army men and Ty took bouncy balls.  We made the teachers a candy poem and put it in a Valentine mailbox.  They turned out super cute.  Garrett got Indiana Jones Legos and Ty got a Woody and Buzz Lightyear Mr. Potato set for Valentine's Day.

20 Weeks!

I have officially hit the halfway point of this pregnancy.  If I go early like with Ty, only about 17 weeks left to go!

We had our ultrasound done on Monday and confirmed that it is another healthy baby boy!  I was pretty sure the baby was another boy, just happy for a healthy baby.  Everything looked good.  He wasn't very cooperative, morning is his down time and he just wanted to lay there with his feet directly pushing on my bladder.

This was the only decent picture that we could get of him because he was laying on his belly with his spine up.

20 Week Update:

How Far Along:  20 Weeks!

Size of the Baby:  10 ounces and 10 inches long

Total Weight Gain:  11 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Absolutely, I have been in them for awhile.

Gender:  Baby Boy!

Movement:  He is super active.  Garrett and David felt him kick this week.  He is most active at night.

Sleep:  Sleep is pretty good.  I sleep even better by myself!

Symptoms:  Still having Braxton Hicks pretty much daily.  Nothing painful though.  Cervix is measuring strong at 4.7.

Cravings: Blackberries, any breakfast food, Oatmeal Creme Pies

Best Moment this week:  Finding out we are having another healthy baby!

17 Weeks-Baby #3

I feel bad because I hadn't even mentioned this pregnancy on the blog so that I would be able to remember anything about this one!  I am just now starting to feel decent and have stopped throwing up for the most part.  I saw several blogs were they keep up week-to-week updates, but that's not happening, but I do want to document this pregnancy some since it will be my last.

How Far Along:  16.6 weeks or 17 weeks

Size of the Baby:  5 ounces and 5 inches, the size of a turnip

Total Weight Gain:  6.5 pounds as of yesterday

Maternity Clothes:  Absolutely, I have been in them for awhile.  Even my regular shirts are getting to short.

Gender:  Our big ultrasound is January 14th, not feeling boy or girl.  With Ty I was pretty sure, but I don't know this time around.

Movement:  I have felt a few flutters off and on.  Nothing consistent though.

Sleep:  I sleep pretty good by myself!  Ty thinks he is my bed partner and he is a rough one.  I bought a pregnancy pillow this time around and it seems to help with hurting hips.

Symptoms:  A few Braxton Hicks early in the week, probably not drinking enough water and traveling seemed to flair them up.  Haven't had any since I have been home.  My midwife said this was all perfectly normal, just not to have too many.  Still have a long time to bake this baby!

Cravings:  I love Blackberries!  That was one thing I could keep down pretty easily, other than than nothing really.  Can't stand anything really sweet and chicken is not my friend.

Best Moment this week:  I heard the baby's heartbeat yesterday.  It was 156, last appointment it was 160, so a high heartbeat.

What I am looking forward to:  Less than 3 weeks until the ultrasound.  I am ready to know what this baby is and that the baby is healthy!

Christmas!

Christmas was a big celebration at our house this year!  Garrett asked Santa for lots of things and he was about to get all of them!  Garrett was excited, Ty not so much.  We didn't get in bed till almost 12:30 and Garrett got up at 8:00 to see want Santa brought.  Meanwhile, Ty was not ready to get out of bed, so I ended up opening most of his presents for him.

Santa brought Garrett the Imaginext Eagle Talon Castle, Spiderman Webshooter and Lego Dinosaur T-Rex, along with many, many other things.  He brought Ty the big Imaginext Batman Cave, Imaginext Pirate Ship, remote control truck, a Toy Story RC Racer and many, many other things.  They both got swords, shirts, Legos and lots more!  They got A LOT!

I am going to attempt to get a picture of them together in their Christmas pajamas before its January, we will see!

MDO Christmas Program

The boys had their annual Christmas program at MDO.  Both classes were in the program.  Garrett's class sang and Ty's class were angels looking in on Baby Jesus.  They both did a really great job. The church does a great job of teaching them the true meaning of Christmas.

Medieval Times

Several weeks ago we took the boys to Medieval Times.  We had been wanting to go since we moved to Georgia and finally decided we would go before the year was out.  We went on a Sunday afternoon and had a great time.  The boys really enjoyed it.  Of course, Knights and lots of fighting is always fun in their book.

You can walk around the castle before the show and different people from the show are walking around.  This one particular knight liked Garrett, but the feeling was not mutual, Garrett did not like the knight trying to talk to him and sit with him.

We had great Medieval Times food, dragons blood and such.  We were there about 2 hours for the show.  We cheered for the yellow and red knight and the boys got the meet him afterwards.  It will definitely be something that we do again!
